Rotary District 1390

Finland has a 6 rotary districts. District 1390 is located in the middle of the country, and it includes parts of Stock-Häme, the Central Finland, Tampere and Päijät-Hämeen provinces (see map).
The district has 58 rotary clubs, with a total of approximately 2,400 members. The district's northern-most club is Pihtipudas and the southern-most North Shore. The district has sponsored one Rotaract Club (members 18-30 years of age)
District 1390 has, for Rotary's way, traditionally active in youth exchanges. More than half of club-to send and receive an annual exchange of students. The district has regularly sent about 30-35 students each year.
The whole of Finland's student exchange program supports about 150. We are most active in the youth exchange circuits. A district goal is that each club will send at least one exchange students. The goal is to send to about 55 exchange students to different districts and countries, each year.
